hi m8,
the 1600 is easy to patch and gets plenty of support
if you dont have cams/cards and a programmer and your
not thinking of use them. my advice is to get the technomate 1500
you can buy this for between £85 and £100 and this is the most
popular of the tm range and does everything you need great support
for patches etc: and when patched give's you all that a dragon/t-rex cam does, and if you think that a cam and a programmer can cost
as more that the tm 1500, go for the technomate 1500 ci+
if you look on the forum you will find video's showing you how
to patch add keys etc: on the techomate.

It's easy to patch and well supported - the description isn't quite accurate though. Premiere is open on the T-Rex cam and not on the TM ATM.

I would recommend the TM1500 or 1600 - make sure you get the "super" version, it has a much faster blind scan facility

Firstly - DON'T SHOUT

If the receiver has been patched, it is capable of receiving many packages without a card - Premiere, D+, TV Cabo, TPS/Multivision for example. You do need to keep updating the encryption keys though, either with your remote or by loading a softcam.key file from your PC over a null-modem cable.

If you want to use a card in the receiver, you will need a CAM as well, most places that sell cards will sell the matching CAM's

What do you mean by fuzzy pic? If there is a patterning on your picture, you likely have RF interference, try with your TV aerial disconnected or use a scart lead. If you get Blocking or Freezing picture, you have a weak signal and likely need your dish aligning.
