Default UBR's and swapping addresses

I'm just doing a bit of initial reasearch before considering going one step more...

Would the two URB's (see below) be ideal for swapping details... more to the point if the two were used would the CC be able to use them to trace their new useage!
The worry is that the two belong to legit boxes that would become homes for cloned boxed in the two respected addresses (obviously swithed that is).

cpc4-mfld1-0-0-cust???.nott.cable.ntl.com
cpc3-mfld1-0-0-cust???.nott.cable.ntl.com

The ??? are also different for the addresses.

I tried to use the link in the Haynes manual to search for the URB's but the link didn't work so I found a new site. I assume the cpc is the segment lable but don't want to use either box details if it results in a huge search light being illuminated on either address if you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance

Don't think there right Bubba.

Might be wrong but am fairly sure they should start with
your IP address. Also the bit where is says cust it should
be ubrxx. This tells you what area you are.

Cheers mate, I tried to find the URB via the web site on the Haynes manual but couldn't get it to work. I tried another site found on google but guess it is wrong. Do you reccomend another site that I can ping to find my URB.

Thanks again

Those are suitable UBR's for swapping MAC's - use DHCPForce to sniff the MAC's at each location then swap them.
