I'm a little confused since javid the site owner thought old gmail members would get access but I think we are all now expected to 'pay' for the information you used to have access to?
I guess that's life

I wonder why this has happend?

£3.30 for software, that has probably/possibly? been obtained for free elsewhere, is a bit steep imho.

Also, I find it quite ironic that people are being asked to "pay" for software that will allow you to effectivly obtain pay tv services without charge.

A bad move by the owners imho.

totally agree, can understand it for newbies who join take what they want then never hear from them again, but for people whove been here a while and have contributed to the site its out of order

Thx Brian - something needs to be done, because this seems a tad OTT.

There seems to be no explanation as to why this decision was made. If it is about gdrive contents being deleted, then surely that is just part of the "game" everyone has to play when using software like this.

After all, the software is being used to circumvent encryption methods of a digital tv service.

It could also be gmail "noticing" that alot of people are accessing one drive at a time etc.

Perhaps several drives could be setup, rather than just one. I know, that I for one have setup and donated a gmaildrive to the site. This can be easily done.

Perhaps another way of stopping any old "Tom, Dick or Harry" appearing on the site, making 1 post asking for s/w then dissapearing, is to make this site invite only.

You know who the "established" members are, and at least members would be able to recommend others to join. (Hopefully i'm established enough. ).

Just a few suggestion to help you guys.

Look forward to your response.

I have no problem with a 'donation' where it is credited as per my previous posts but I'm not in agreement with a payment. It seems like someone has decided to move the goalposts on their on say so. If this is the case then so be but I'm not sure it's in the spirit of a site I have decisded to try and help at every opertunity. Further more, I don't do paypal so if I am to make a donation I need an address to send my apreciation when I am good and ready..... I have spent a small fortune paying people to sort cards out etc so I agree £3.30 is a small price for such info.... I just want the choice to give a 'donation' and I won't pay a penny until I do.

Sorry for the rant.....perhaps too much wine on top of my pain killers for a broken leg now taking effect.

Move along folks, nothing to see here!

£3.30 is well worth paying for info the we get on this site but this charge is no more as the mods have decided against it and all that have contributed have been refunded.
