Star view boxes are good and cheep they are not the best for the signals but if you have got the strong signals then it is ok. but if you want a staview box then make it sure that it is original there are clone boxes as well. with clone boxes if you flash them with the new update file they will burn and then you need a JTAG to make them alive again. there are few things which tells you that the box is cloned or not. you can find that in g mail drive. they are realy easy to flash only one flash file does that. file is always avaible because there is some support on the back of these boxes the compny which makes these boxes gives you every thing. all the instruction how to program warranty files and cables and everything. iv got a couple of dead starview boxes somewhere im gona try this Jtag method see if if i can bring them back to life wish me luck.

You can do it mate. i have been ordering these boxes 10 each time. i dont know how many dead boxes i have got at the moment. but i am sure this method works and you can bring it back. Jtag is avaiable from e bay files are availableon internet. thanks
