Default picture freeze and loss of signal help??

hi guys, I have a eurovox 2007 (RED) which has been working fine now for a few months and for some reason it has started to lose signal and has been freezing on loads of channels, it works ok for say 10 min and then it goes funny, it is a second box upstairs downstairs is an old chipped box which is fine I have checked all the conections and they are fine, I took the box back to the guy I got it off and he swapped it no probs, and it was fine for a day but it has started to go funny againdoes anybody know whats wrong with it? i have autoscaned and done almost everything i can think of!

Come on guys sombody must know! I am getting well stressed out now! when I put the splitter on at the start I removed the connector that was in the box on the wall in the house, and replaced it with the splitter, I am not on BB which I thought it was for do I need to put this back? any help guys would be great

Check what firmware you have loaded as there was new f/w released 1.6.07 for this box. If you are having problems than you should upgrade the f/w. Make sure all your connections are good as this will effect performance of the box. Not sure what you meant when you said you are not on broadband, I assume you have got cable connection.

it now just seems to do it every now and again, it was fine for a few days and the missus just phoned me to say that it went all fuunt and lost the signal and come back on, and seems to be fine now! I have redone all the connections and put back the tv/data filter that i took off and like i said it seems a lot better, I took the filter off originaly because I was not on BB i was only had the phone and tv!
