Default Eurovox problems

Hi there Guys..

I bought a 2007 Eurovox Max a few months ago.. I initially had some problems with it but did a full powerscan on 6887 and eventually got all my channels.. I have not loaded any new software into it, just used the box as it came..

Recently I noticed that I was loosing a few channels, so decided to do a new powerscan to get them back.... Unfortunately this seemed to loose everything.. all I got was no signal.. I tried this a couple of times with no joy, and eventually decided to clear my data and restore to factory settings(I have done this before when I first got the box). I subsequently tried more powerscans both on 6887 and the other channel. With no luck at all.. The screen after the scan lists one or sometimes two channels, but the box reads 0000. When I exit out of the menu system the screen still states no signal and the box won't let me change channel.. I have looked through the tutorials and nothing there seems to help.. I am in Manchester and used to be on NTL.. My Cable subscription is still active..

Can anybody help?

Cheers, Rick

what firmware is on it, whats it say in system informaton, just out of interest

bootstrap

also, there's a few people with similar problem, reading around on these cable forums, most of them resolved this by loading the new firmware file
.
