Default Port Problem

Hi guys excuse me if this is the wrong forum for this, the other day my broadband connection went down, analysis of the problem proved that the connection had failed on the pc port i always use for this, using a different usb port solved the problem,
ok, so what is wrong with the original usb port, will i be able to use it again ??? I have a IBM thinkpad T30

Thanks in anticipation

Dave

Hi Dave

Try some other devices on the USB Port and see if they work ? if not there are a few things we can do "but test it first"

Seems like your modem don't like that port "sounds daft but hardware can be strange" but I'm thinking as reference to your other thread you may be changing your Internet interface.
