Can anyone tell me how to 'force' a software update on a DITV2000 ?

cant remember if 2000 has the 4 buttons on right hand side. If it has then boot holding power button till ok then 0000 is displayed. Press favourites,interactive,tv guide, tv in that order so 4321 is displayed. Then press ok and youre away.Will take a few minutes then box will reboot.

It will only update if talkback is connected. Remember to disconnect afterwards. If your box doesnt have those buttons then the four buttons in the circle as on 4000 models give you 4321.

can a force update be done on a box if it has had a no update mod done to it does anyone know?

yes as long as talkback is connected. But dont do it on subbed box as 1. It is done by the cc 2. Big Brother will know you been

nope it hasnt done it, this 4000 is really starting to p*ss me off! crappy thing lol, thanks trafpol i think im going to go maplins and get them things the pic says that ive got about the no update mod.
