I take it you have tried just resetting the box. Sometimes this is caused by network id not bein correct for your area - if its a box you normally use I cant see this being the problem but check it in engineers menu

Have you gone to next page of engineers menu and checked net id is correct for your area? If not it needs changing - use latest net id and pin change from download section.

I just had a look at my E.menu...the Freq was set to 643. I changed this to 715. I also changed the pin. The Net ID was showing as ****.
When I reboot the Freq changes back. I can not change the net id on the e.menu. |

Either that or the red jumper isnt on properly - it looks like each time you boot its going into default settings. Have you had red jumper off for 30 secs then replaced then boot into e menu? Once you have changed settings save them. Do not use 0000 for the pin.

Did the above..made the changes but on reboot the setting didnt save.
e.g. Freq still said 743. and pin said ---- and net ID said **** The display showed pace for a every long time before going into e.menu. Interestingly the status menu (page 9of 19) on e.menu has the following: Timestamp ErrorCode Error Message 06/01/1980 00:00 266 NVRAM CA Bad CRC Any ideas? Thanks |

Mate your box is finished now. if you have left it on the ntwork for more than half an hour with wrong Net ID it is been blocked by VM. you wont be able to change the net id now.
