Exclamation Eurovox VCR connection Problems!

Hi, Iv connected my VCR to the eurovox and then the Eurovox to the TV.
the problem i have is that when i press play with a tape in my VCR its not comming up on my tv. The VCR is connected through the eurovox but its not coming on i cannot see the tape.

I have checked inside tv settings in config in the eurovox and it says the following

MULTI
video output:CVBS
PAL-B/G
UHF channel:40

i have a starview box and tried using the same settings as the way i connect it through my starview box it works fine, but for a stange reason the vcr is not coming up through this eurovox box..

Please someone help as i would like to record programs..

thanks

There are 2 ways of connecting a VCR/DVD Recorder to the Eurovox.

1) Use the bottom scart connector, when recording set your VCR/DVD to the AV channel and then record.

2) Use the RF output (number 9 on page 2 of the manual - the one top center connection next to the mains socket) on the eurovox and then tune your VCR/DVD into this channel (its set up to come in on channel 40 but this can be changed).

With option 2 you can see what you are recording providing you change over to your VCR/DVD channel.
Option 2 can also be used to send the signal from the eurovox around the house to other TV's.

The VCR connection is at the top isnt it? thats where it says to plug the VCR ar the top.

The eurovox and VCR go through the AV1. while im watchin channels through my eurovox when i press play on my VCR remote it should pop up with whats in my VCR. this is not happening?

I had the same problem.Solution is scart lead from tv goes into your video av1,them the other scart socket on your video goes into your eurovox.
