Hi Ann, PC is all good now thanks.

I disabled all unused programs using Services.msc and MSconfig (nearly 10 programs)

Used one of the freeware tools that you recommended, i think it was called ATF Cleaner, and deleted all the Temp files, Cookies etc.

Run Norton
Run Adware Personnel Se

Computer back upto speed now.
