K 800i

Hi friend has handed me down a k800 i i have a nokia at the mo with tom tom on it. The k800 has a 1gig card in it is it poss to put the tom tom on it, i have tom tom on disc and the bluetooth gps reciver. Is it just a case of hooking the sony up to the computer and downloading it as is did with the nokia

Try copying the files to the 1gb card and plug it in your K800i. There are different versions of tomtom for different types of hardware. But I guess the one you have for your old phone should work with your new phone.

cant get tomtom software on any se according to tomtom

The files from your Nokia will not work as the Nokia is based on the Symbian platform. I think only smartphones (W950i, W960i etc) have SatNav capabilities

tomtom only works on smartphones but you can use Wayfinder on K800

Your phone k800 should support gps function.
