Default Transferring From good Box to bad box(EV MAX)

hi there i have a dead ev max which needs bringin back 2 life, iv heard that this can be done if u transfer from good box to bad box, If this is true please could you guide me in the right direction as to what equipment will i need, a simple idiots guide will do nicely.............
