Default Pace 2000 (I think) shows virgin powering up then turns off?

Guys sorry to post another thread but im totally lost ive been searching for hours and reading all sorts.

I have a DITV-1000 Phase 1b

It has always not had intereactive available.

Anyway, today it wouldnt load the channels, so i was advised to force update via shorting the battery.

I did this and now I can get it to boot up.

I can get in Engineers menu OK and all is green.

Every time i power on via a powercycle

it says powering up or whatever for 2 seconds and then turns the whole STB off?

Please help someone?

thanks in advance

C

have put the batt on properly, also check the lead, it could be a power fault

you should have a little red thing on a 1000 box then pull that off and leve it off for a bit, its a red thing near the battery people call it the red jumper pull it off and try again, and on boot up again set your frequency to your area and set your pin in the enginners menu then reboot hopefully it sorts itself out mate

After the virgin screen it may take a while to update, just leave it on.
