I had the 2007 one and it died, took it back got 2008 one as replacement and apart from the new look it's exactly the same from what I can tell

Hi Guys
V5's firmware was dated 28/06/07 on my box too, started getting freezing on the box after a few days, noticed someone on flea bay with a 02/07/07 version software, anyone know where i may obtain a copy?

I haven't experienced any picture freezing ( ... crosses fingers )

Managed to get a copy sent over, just waiting for a cable, will updated later on freezing issues, i`ve noticed its not self updating too.

Would this version SW 02/07/07 also work on a Euro Vox Max Red Box
version 15/03/07 as this does self update but also freezes.

I bought one of these ages ago. Followed instructions and power scanned etc.

Worked a treat since August. Recently some channels have not been showing up.

I did a rescan through the menu and now I only can view a select few number of channels but no sound.

Sounds like it's gone tits up. Any ideas?
