I can be sat watching something, change channel and find that i have a/ no channels or b/ all the channels but I cant watch any of them because they are all blocky and giving of an annoying chipping noise. I seem to always suffer with Discovery channels and have never been able to watch them, whcih i can live with but now Im finding that more and more channels are being affected more regularly. I've read page after page of the advice here and tried a lot of the things that have been suggested but to no avail. Im mostly having problems with Frequency 635 and am seriously beginning to consider giving up.

Does anyone have any possible explanations and/or solutions for this problem? My connections both inside and out seem to be fine. Im with Virgin Media by the way.

Any help greatly appreciated.

not got the box infront of me but i know what your talking about

go to powerscan and change the following

top of the list it will say NORMAL change this to full
then under that it will give you the frequency start and end
highlight the END freq and change it from 870mhz to 970mhz or higher

all this does is make it search the higher freqs
which is were virgin media have moved there channels too

you should find you will get them all back
but you will most likely have to resort you channel favs again
and they may have new names so you have to look
