i had a 4000 that display would'nt come off pace, sooo its spares

I think it is like what 5av said, the box is old and tired.

the battery could just be dead......last resort.....

dont think that means anything trafpol as soon as it has power plugged in the batts just there for when its unplugged. there is a way to reboot your box without pulling the power lead out. ive posted it somewhere in this forum.

Hi

I got this box a few moments ago, plugged power in and everything was fine, I got the normal free channels. After doing the p&p LED SIMM and putting back the original simm.

The box freezes on [ tune ] for about 2 minutes. Then I get a whole lot of number rolling, and then I get [ ERR 5 ] [ LAIT ].

Could you please help

if it alternates between err5 and lait it may take an update leave it alone and see what happens

Hi there.

Thank you man, you were right, it was updating. Now I can see the free channels.

I have prgrammed my card. The locked channels are listed, but all I get is a black screen (no sound no video) even though the data for the channel is displayed when you click on TV (i.e. what show is currently on)

Could you please help me fix this problem.

My box is stuck on tune for a while and is saying its updating it do i need to redo the card it wont go on any channel and its been like that for hours. please help someone. and also are there new files that i need?

WMB take the card out of the box. Turn the box off from power, leave it for 2 mins, then plug your box into power. Leave it for 5-10 minutes (without card in) and see if you get the free channels.

If you do, then I'll let you know what to do next

you need to try some of the fixs posted for fixing stuck on tunes alas some need to have caps moved eventually or some replaced so i have read elsewhere
