It should have come with a disk complete with instructions and all firmware/tsop files.

There are different tsops for different models and different methods for different chipsets. So please post what year model they are and what chipsets they are. If you open the box you will see a 48 pin tsop beside the larger chip, it will say either ST or Intel.

I did get disc with files on it but none of these files tell me actually how to connect the cable or what I actually need to do to flash the box.

As said I can give you the info but you need to tell me what box they are for? As in year/model.

Do you have the tsop file for it and do you know if it is an ST or Intel chipset?

Its probably safer to say I have no files. I think its an ST chip. Can you possibly send over both just in case

To be honest you are better of buying a proper Jtag kit with all the instructions and firmware/software you need. You will find one here for a few quid with all you need Tailor-Made Circuits

I tried to go to Lincsats shop but the link seems to be down he may sell them also.
