Default technomate 9100

don't see a thread for this box so i thought i would start one

this is a great box for about £100 to £150 at the moment
its on par with a dreambox 7020

will take a hardrive for recording
images seem to be flying out for it
its a linux box so it will take
dreambox cams and other bits of software like dreambox control centre
  • Linux Home Multimedia Center running on Enigma
  • PVR Ready
  • 9in1 Memory Card Reader
  • Ethernet Communication Port
  • Unlimited Channel Memory
  • 2x Smart Card Readers
  • 1x Common Interface (CI)
i paid £109 for mine and am going to get another asap

This box can do 95% of what the Dreambox and is great value for money. I run a 320gb hard disk in mine and the software is getting better and better.

tm9100.co.uk is a great resource for this box

I setup a dish for a guy with one of those - it looked nice, but he'd botched an upgrade so it wasn't working at the time.

I did consider getting one, but I need blind scan which I don't think is supported in the 9100.

Hi,

I am interested in getting one of these boses, where did you get yours from?

I am also interested in getting a 90cm motorised dish to go with the Technomate 9100 box, would I be able to purchase all this kit from where you purchased your box from?
