Hi all
I have a pogo Jtag, a Samsung 2100C and a LPT1 port on my computer. I got BKE2.2 and when I click on Jtag it asks me for Config (1 or 2) and 3 radio buttons (Samsungs in different areas!). I live in na Nthell area, so which do I select cause there is no radio button for (Samsung nthell) ? I tried all three radio buttons, but when I click on connect (after placing jtag on pins inside box.. of course) I get this error : FATAL ERROR NT Driver not found: MAC_MOT.SYS Can anyone help me Jtag this box please, I really need the BK and IRD. Thanks |

I could just not get my head around the BKE programme until 51 tempted to me to try the OCD. I now use this for all my box work and it's never failed.
You will need to run the DRV programme with the MOT MAC and then start the 2100c up in debug mode before running the OCD but it really is a doddle. Once up and running you simply insert the desired byte in the input line and up comes the required IRD or BK. The OCD is also essential for updating the NVRAM with a new MAC (I now use Dalmations MAC for speed). If you look in the downloads section there is a tut for getting PINs back on the 2100c. This tut is also great for instructions of how to use OCD. You basically follow the tut up to the point of adding the nonnet mac to get OCD running and then insert the correct byte. There is a list of bytes posted last week here and they differ depending on what area you are in and what software you are running. To check the software go into the settings mode on the remote control for the version number. Hope this helps mate |

I have the OCD programe as well !! but I was told to get Box Key it is better to use BKE2.2 and to get IRD it is better to use OCD commander.
By the way, does the samsung box have to be powered on for the Jtag ?? (this might be a very stupid Q, but sorry I honestly don't know) |
