Lightbulb modifying new sammy 2100c

Hi all,

i have a new sammy 2100c, which has never been chipped. today i cut the talkback and checked the software version. connected my pogo jtag and used the software OCD, i've put in the latest bytes. It gives me the correct IRD, but the BK it gives me is "DF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF", which i have programed on a card, but all i get is a BLACK SCREEN (no errors)?

any help will be appreciated

many thanks

hi again....

shorted the battery with 2 pieces of wires for 2 minutes then removed, went to the engineers menu pressed the up and down button until "LD14" appeared then let go, set the frequency and pin.

tried to retrieve the BK again using the above bytes, i get the correct IRD because it starts with "E3", but i'm getting the incorrect BK.

sorry to be a pain, but i really appreciate your help

Hi guys followed the below and managed to get the BK now, but i dont get a picture apart from all the free channels, however it shows me the listing, and also dont get any errors?????

really confused now, am i doing smfing wrong?

Thanks

short the battery with a piece of wire for 2 minutes then remove, go to the engineers menu press the up and down button until "LD14" appears then let go set your frequency and pin.
reconnect the cable feed (the jtag can be left soldered in unlesss its a pogo lol) let the box boot up (numbers roll) this is the box updating once done turn off the box remove the cable feed apply the power and again when you see "PD20" press and hold the down button for 5 second and wait for the green standby light the box should now take the byte command and reveal the BK
as for the IRD just convert the serial code on the bottom of the box or in the engineers menu 10 digits only not 12
good luck
