Default Eurovox help please

Hi all, just said hello in the introductions section, but I thought i'd dive straight in as well with a cry for some help and advice please.

I've had a genuine eurovox now for maybe 18 months - 2 years, I feel sure in came in a Blue box when I had it.(the box has long gone now !! ) but I've just bought a genuine Red box one for the Brother-in-law.

The question is, after digging around, there seems to be 2 sets of firmware for these boxes, one for blue and one for red, with both boxes looking the same externally can I damage either if I get them mixed up at all ?

I'm just checking, before I try and find the firmware to upgrade both.

Any advice and pointers welcome.

many thanks

red

you wont damage them if you flash the wrong one it just wont find the channels, yours will be a blue box so use the feb 07 blue box firmware and use the redbox feb 07 for your in-laws,shouldnt have any problems
