eng menu page 1 im trying to set the net id and frequency. i changed the freq on where it says default freq and put in the correct numbers on default symb rate done all that but im stuck with where to put the NETID or will change itself? powered it up with feed and its on TUNE is the waiting game or have i done it wrong.
anyone??

no that sounds alrite, have you tryed force boot holding chanell down button in till you see boot displayed? or you can pull red jumper with power of leave for a minute put back in and power up see if that helps, if not you have a stuck on tune box

4001 sets Net ID automatically, as you have found you cannot manualy change it.

well is he not setting it on page 1 eng menu? then press services or select to save?

its all saved as i checked again in eng menu just waiting as its on TUNE nothings happening at the moment so im gona give it a force boot see wat happens.

just tried force boot and its coming up with channels unavailable and its stuck on 0, so iv lifted the lid and pulled off jumper.
wen i change net id and freq do i need to have feed on or off and same for force boot with or without programmed card??

theres a stuck on tune tut knocking about, you may find that helps solve ur problem

No, that's Frequency (it's not on page 1, either 2 or 3)

Like I said, Net ID is set Automatically. A trick that sometimes works is to make a NET ID funcard, it does not actually set the correct ID it sets something like **** ,However when it boots it picks up the correct NET ID.

PS. Traf has the NET ID pin setter files
