Default Question on Maplin Sat Nav System

I was in my local Maplin shop in Galway,Ireland today where they are selling a sat nav for 163E(just over £100) and the guy told me that it had only UK maps, none for Ireland but he told me its possible to download them from websites but he didn't have any details of that.Obviously it can be easily done because he was sold out of them.Anyone know anything about this?

Yes I heard about that since, but if you switch off the unit you have to reflash it again which is a bit of a pain.
