new setanta channels starting monday - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Might be a wee bit premature with this query, but have eurovox max 3 and also virgin broadband.
Have read tonight that Virgin have bought the new setanta (6 channels i believe) for the new football season.
Anyone know if eurovox should be able to pick these channels up via a scan(autoscan) or will codes have to be known for each of the new channels or indeed re-entering the current code for the setanta channels on the go just now?

Hope I have made this clear enough?

The 6 channels are already available on the Eurovox ...

Set 1, 2 & Golf
Celtic TV, Rangers TV & MUTV

I might have got this wrong but my understanding was there was going to be 6 setanta sports channels as well as celtic/rangers and Man Utd tv?

Gerry, haven't heard anything about new channels apart from LiverpoolTV ~ what would they fill these channels with? At present, Set2 is off-air more than it's on, Set1 is filled with Aussie sports & repeats of SPL, Dutch & French footy from last season

I don't think MUTV is a Setanta channel, but we do have a couple of racing channels and NASN on cable, which I think are theirs.

liverpoolfctv is starting on monday bought to us by setanta. can we go back to gerry`s original quiery, How can we pick up the channel and any new channels that may appear in future?

An autoscan should pick them up. Any new channels will be added to the end of the list.
