hi tekka 84 thanks for your advice can you advise me on fitting the splitter i only intend to watch programes on one tv i do not have another tv in the house so would i be aswell just setting up my eurovox and taking the vm one out or is there a risk if i do this

your original subbed box needs to be connected as it talks back to v1rgin,but if your not using it just connect the 2 boxes with the splitter and put the v1rgin one behind the tv or somewere,you dont need it connected to your tv with the scart

i am waiting for the splitter kit to arrive then i will give it a go
