hi i get an err3 after 1000box has been on for 1hr or so then the box revert back to factory setting netid 09999 what i think it is is the battery because its just like when you pull the jumper
anyone got any thoughts?

ERR3 not enough NVRAM, Its got to be worth trying new battery.

Its an old box mate, best to replace battery.

They are old boxes mate, it depends if someone has got a unwanted box lying around or best place to try would be fleabay and ebay, try posting this in the Wanted Section mate.

think you can get them in maplins but they are a pig to resolder into the box

I was going to use springs just soilder wires to them then i can push the battery in

The usual cure for ERR3 on a 1000 box is to remove the memory strip inside the box, clean the contacts and re-fit. That should sort it.

sorry its not a 1000 its a 2000

Sorry m8, not heard of that problem on a 2000 box. Its something to do with NVRAM but as it only occurs after an hour its unlikely to be the battery.
