What price range are you thinking of for the Graphics Card ? and can you supply the PC`s Motherboard make and model, also CPU, Ram, and PSU wattage as they all relate to the GPU interface. Oh and i just bought this > Graphics Card are you looking for a similar spec ?

I Have a HTPC with a DVI Graphics card, I have a DVI to HDMI lead and get full HD resolution output (1080i) to my LCD TV.

Looking at some cards you can go from a ASUS EAX1600PRO/I up to a Sapphire RADEON HD 2900XT, thats from £70 up to £300 and you will get true HD on your 37".

Ebay is as good as anywhere, sometimes places like bigpockets.co.uk have cheap old(ish) PC's, depends what you are looking for.

I'm in the process of re-building some old PC's, only around 700meg processors though - will be looking to sell them for around £50 each.

Badboy you will need to check that whatever PC you buy that it will support a HDMI enabled graphics card (check MOBO, GPU interface, PSU against whatever GPU spec you go for because you don't want to spend say £200 on a GPU and find your PC cant run it !.

You can also get AGP so when you buy your PC it would be better if your MOBO has PCI-E and the higher end Graphics Cards need there own power supply from the PSU so you need to check your PSU can run the Graphics Card you want ( my GeForce 8800 GTS needs 500w PSU) if i connected it to a 380W PSU it would perform bad or not at all.
