Yea linksys with dd-wrt is good, as i extended the range.

i use a linksys linux one.. found it good for the custom firmwares, etc

have wrt54gl with ddwrt installed on it, As i share my connection with other housemates and it gives me more control !!!

I use the same but find sometimes I have to reboot it after using torrents other than that it works great. Have been using it for about 2 years now..

get netgear with wireless N, N is the newest and fastest wireless acsess available
