sounds like you have a dodgy connection from the cable box on the wall and your eurovox.
try that first make sure the coax is not touching were the ends screw on |

Connections seem fine, just done factory reset and full powerscan, this time its showing more channels and a couple of them stayed on for longer than 30 seconds, but they soon went off, im trying a powerscan with factory defaults set differently see how that goes,if that fails im in trouble..

Do u mean the cable lead is *****????or the cable signal??
if its the first its only cheap and u can even get from B&Q. If its the second and u are using your provider for broadband then tell em thers a fault and they can fix it. You dont need to subscribe to get the channels just a LIVE cable signal. |

errr,i think the cable is no good resulting in poor signal, ive just been told that i may need the wires in the green box down the road reconnecting as the n*l package was cancelled?? is this a myth? if not what do i do next? i thought if it were disconnected why does it pick up some channels? the signal strength went from 80% for approx. 20 seconds then dropped to 5-10% then went back up again ...would this occur if there were no connection in the green box??................My god im thick....sorry for the naivity..

youve definatley got a signal problem m8 but dont think its the green box in street as you can find all channels.check the box on the wall outiside your house, most likley that or your cable and connector
