I bought a eurovox max v 2008 black, note from seller says needs programming with free to air software as none provided. now i find out through reading forums that I've got a clone. rang seller, they say that it's irrelevant. sent me to a forum to download latest flashing software but having problems, wondered if anyone here (hopefully with some patience) can help.

Beware of buying Max V on fleebay. There are lots of clones floating around at the moment.
I'm in the process of sending one back as we speak.Fortunately i already have an original so was able to spot the clone before attempting to flash it.

Have only just found out Eurovox no longer make this box. There are a few originals out there (try looking at the stickies)but are few and far between.Be careful.
Remember,if you try to flash, this invalidates your chance (if any in the 1st place) of a refund!
