hi all. new to all this. Thinking of getting ntl/VM in my new flat, so my questions are really these:

i know i need at least the min package
1. Does eurovox work in N Ireland- is the uk so i assume it does
2. Why do you need broadband? (read a few other threads - think its just to update?)

any other advice would be great!

Hi bubblesthelegend . the eurovox should work in northern ireland as far as i know it covers the whole of the uk. u just have to be in a cable area. u dont need to have virgins minimum package on . if u have virgin media cable internet on u can buy a splitter and run a wire from the splitter to your internet modem and the other one to the RF Input on the back of the eurovox.

If the flat already has a cable box on the wall,there is a strong chance there is a LIVE signal already so u dont have to get anything from the cable co

Check by running a cable direct to the back of your tv and tune it in.if its live you will receive the fta channels.
