Default dbox image problem

hi all / lincsat

i uploaded the lincsat beta image to my sagem x2 box but when i try the scans it doesnt pick up anything? Am i missing anything? Have i left a procedure out? Ive checked the image version on the info screen and it says its the lincsat beta so i assume that ok. I live in East london so maybe i need to add codes or something...being a newbie im lost!

thanks again

Press the blue button and select "location scanning" find the location closest to you - use the left/right buttons to navigate the sub-menu's. When you've found the most appropriate location, press select and re-boot the box when prompted. If you can't find your area, see if you can find out your NetID, default frequency and symbol rate (you can get them from the engineers menu of a subscribed box) and let me know so I can include it in future images.

Now try the fast scan again - store the keep existing bouquets option for future scans and switch on the background scan option.

Beta5 is the latest image so give that a try. You shouldn't have to do anything else - when you've done a scan and found channels, that should be it.

The only thing I can think of is a signal problem, try removing all splitters and check the connections

hi Lincsat

i was looking through the posts and have noticed dave2067uk logged a similar problem to mine. Someone told me a commando image may work. Any ideas where i could get one from?

You could try a google search.

I didn't put any on the downloads as they don't include any decryption keys, so will only get FTA channels without modification
