Default eurovox problem

bought my eurovox 2008 3 weeks ago and noticed ssports 1 jumping a wee bit
never thought anything was wrong maybe it was just a bad broadcast from sly.
over the past two weeks its got worse and is affecting more than 1 channel
i seem to have only 8% level and qaulity on all channels (though when i switch the box on its at 80% and gradually drops to 8%) .
its only a problem when i use a splitter to connect my modem and eurovox(even when i put cable in to the eurovox on its own with no splitter i get 80% level & qaulity and it drops to 8% also BUT NO JUMPING OR PIXELATING).
i have had a cable box and modem with the splitter set up for many years and no problems until now
i contacted the dealer i got the box from he said 99% of pixelating problems are due to a week signal
it does not bother me having only 8% level and qaulity as long as my picture doesnt jump and pixelate
i have also bought a new splitter and coax and it is just the same
my only option i think i have is a booster/ splitter
if anyone can help it is kindly apreciated

could sort it m8 but it seems a little strange how your signal drops from 80% to 8% even when directly connected, and I cant see a booster helping much. You could try reflashing but if that dosnt work then theres a good chance youve got a faulty box.
