Question Reset button for eurovox

hi all, i am having a problem with my eurovox max, it is a year old and all that is coming up on the front of it is the 2 dots that are in the middle of the clock, it wont even turn on, i have been told that there is a reset button inside the box, but im unsure where it is. If anyone could lead me in the right direction as to where i am supposed to be looking and what to do then it would be much appreciated.......

I have only done this once myself, but it was dead easy. Open the box and you will see the main PCB at the rear where you attach all the cables (scart / rf / audio etc) on this board looking from the front is a empty connector, follow this back just behind the resistor you wil see a little micro switch, thats the reset.

I tried a re-flash it didnt work, do you have to just press the reset switch or hold it down for a few second?, does the box have to be powered up when u reset it?

Thanks

a box-box file transfer supposed to be quite effective at restoring a box
you will need another box the same, ie, blue-box or red-box

connect the boxes together with the null cable, then on the good box go to system propertys in the menu and type 1968 to bring up 2 hidden options, select the box-box transfer then press the reset button on the dead box to start the file transfer
