Could anyone give me more details please as i have no knowledge to cable, i have purchase a eurovox 2008 yestarday on ebay

my question is
Can eurovox still work with no company? im currently on Virgin media but will be cancelling it after several test when my package arrive. My dad will be joining BT only for telephone

Where can i get a splitter two in one? i currently have the broadband connector but would like to split it since the box is in the house (im live in a garage room)

i have a Eurovox max 2007 (red) and that works fine so id imagine that the 2008 will pick everything up even if you dont have a live feed. (you still need the cable connection so you can plug it into the box). Can anyone else confirm this as well?

Lincsats shop sell the splitters i think. Ive ordered from Lincsat before and its a good service and delivery is fast so its recommended from experience. Ive also seen splitters in maplins but they tend to charge very high prices!

if you cancel all you cable services then theres a good chance they will disconnect you at the green box in the street (all depends whether the engineer can be arsed disconnecting you).it always better to get minimum package or at least get broadband off them.
As for a splitter have a look in lincsats shop as DOC says.

All i know atm is my dad will be joining BT for the phone, Bethere for the broadband though i don't know if bt have cable tv. I email lincsat thank you

I just recieved my euro vox took a while to configure.

i have several question i still puzzled
i did a powerscan but no channel came up
the guy i purchased the box gave me a instruction on using the symblerates 6952 & 6887,

Is there and better rates to change? because i have 10 + bbc1 and itv channel the same lol

and 1 more thing, There are everal red button, how do i unlock it?

hiya

make sure you do a full power scan and not just the normal one. It should pick up everything.

I did two powerscan, both of them did not came up any channels.
I did normal scan after that and bout 179 channel spawn
