EPG on Eurovox — Correct time, wrong info - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Anybody offer any help. My has the correct time set for the EPG, but it is displaying old info i.e. At 7.41pm on UTV, when Corrie is on, its showing up the 7pm to 7.30pm info for Emmerdale. Again., the clock is correct otherwise.

BTW It's NTL in Ireland.

EPG info is pushed to your box from the service provider.

It could be you are running with older firmware.

I believe the last two firmware updates contained improvements to the EPG, they probably tweaked the time out to allow the updates to come down.

Check your firmware level.

It's a 2008 box with the July 07 (well, June 28 really) update.

Do you get a good signal level? I have read in other forums that low signal can cause epg probs too, although admittedly the epg is usually short on info rather than out of sync.

Not much help i guess but i'm trying to figure out why u r out of sync.
Off topic but may be related..occasionally i get audio out of sync with picture , when this happens I have to power off the box to fix it.
Have you tried removing power..not just standby?
