5 or more 'Good' posts

I am very new to this site and indeed subject. I have spent quite some time reading through the threads and have a good idea of what I need to do to get my Pace box working again, after the recent messages that came up on it. My only problem is I now need to download the tools to allow me to go forth and attempt to rectify the situation, but need 5 good posts to get access. Unfortuantly until I make mistakes at the next stage I have little to say! the threads are quite varied and contain all the questions I would ask without knowing the issues I face.

Therefore the only question I need the answer to is: can I get access to the downloads without wasting your time by writing a further 4 posts?

I'll move this to feedback so that it frees up space on the cable boards for questions directly about boxes...

As for making a couple of posts - just throw yourself in.

The posts don't have to be particularly "good" - it's simply that we've had a couple of people rush out to post "Me too!" 5 times, which just reads as spamming.

So feel free to make a couple of posts - hopefully it's not too hard, but if you're not sure, you can always try the lounge...

Your using a PC to be at TechWatch if you have any questions about your PC how it runs ? make it run faster ? more efficient ? post any PC questions in the relevant forum.

Had the same situation, it's tought to post when you don't know much about the topic yet! So I went off to a couple of other boards.

Anyway, now I have 6 posts or so, I can't see the download section anywhere. Should it be automatic or does a moderator have to approve me somehow before this happens? (If so I'll let you off as it is 3am ).
