Hi. Im new on this forum and I really need some expert help. Ive got a chipped pace box and I need to re-program my ntl card. Ive bought an infinity usb phoenix programmer and I just dont know how to use it or what software I need to download. My card says Nagravisiion written on it. What do I do?? Please help. I would appreciate any kind of advice. Thank you in advance.

you need to load your infinity software and drivers and then get a program called 'nagra edit' its in downloads.

then, search for 'nagra edit tutorial' and i'm sure you'lkl find a guide

Thank you G77. Ive only got one disc with the infinity and iv installed the drivers but I dont know if iv installed the software correctly from it!! Am I just being dumb?? It says to install software I need to run install.exe on the cd and then click the infinity usb icon!!! It may as well be in latin cos I just dont understand. Thank you for your advice. Sorry for being such an idiot.

you should have a black icon with the infinity sign on it in your desktop. doub;e click this and then click the button which says pheonix mode and then set it to 3.58 pheonix and then run your dfownloaded nagra edit

hey guys

been looking but cant seem to find it cooking. well, tht was a bit of a cryptic clue to the mod number of the box im going to ask about--u guessed it, the hot n heavy pace 4001 (burn out bulls*#)!!!

anyways--stuck on tune n ap52, whats the diff if any?i know they are both signal related but ive change the tuner and can get it to ap52--is my fianl option to change the 6 caps?

Is your net id correct ? An incorrect Net ID is the usual cause of AP:52 The 4001 is a davic box and Will only work on ntl .

further to above---out of the 6 caps, which is the most likely of them to be gone--im a lazy git n will change um one by one to skive off doin um all!!lol

yep--its in a Not Taking Loads area. lol

they are fine but then theny just seem to bomb out do the old pace 4001'---cheap n cheerful is the problem--rubbish components i expect!

hi mate i pulled jumper to reset box (pacei4000n) put in freq etc then got er 11 and 12 now box shows virgin sign on screen in black and white but does not do anything any ideas.

Use a scart lead From Receiver=TV-Out—to=TV-in on tele,or Au-1 or 2. then use Au Channel on Tele. DJ.
