Here are some known error codes/meanings for ntl boxes:
Err1_ CRC fail across Primary Loader image.
Err2_ No longer used.
Err3_ Insufficient NVRAM
Err4_ Flash Fail or can't find platform object
Err5_ NVRAM not found
Err6_PSI buffer full download packet re-sizing required
Tuning Sequence Related Errors
Er10_ Unable to Tune to Last frequency
Er11_ Unable to Tune to Home Frequency
Er12_ Unable to Tune to any of the last NIT defined frequencies
Er13_ Unable to scan for a frequency
Er14_ Unable to scan for a symbol rate
Er16_ Unable to tune to hardcoded frequency
Input Stream Errors
Er20_ Timeout on receiving NIT
Er21_ Timeout on receiving PAT
Er22_ Timeout on receiving PMT
Er23_ Timeout on receiving object data
Er24_ Timeout on receiving TDT
Er25_ Sync loss has occurred on the input stream
Object Validation
Er30_ Object CRC Fail
Er31_ Object Digital Signature Fail
Flash programming errors.
Er40_ Insufficient Flash ( NAND Flash Specific )
ErrC_ Failed to Erase Flash Sector
ErrD_ Failed to Program a Flash sector.

Ld:01......start of primary boot loader
Ld:02......read the boot option
Ld:03......start the secondary boot loader
Ld:04......load the SBL
Ld:10......start of SBL
Ld:11......get front input
Ld:12......start the heap manager
Ld:13......start of front key action
Ld:14......end of front key action
Ld:15......wait for multi ICE
Ld:16......start of serial download
Ld:20......start of tuning step
Ld:30......start of download step
Ld:40......load the platform
err:s.......erase 128k segment of memory(following code download)
Pr:09......program 128k segment of memory(following code download)

extremly helpful steve0 this will come in very very handy, i will certainly viewing this quite alot. i did have these codes somewhere buts its the mess about finding them but now its just made life a whole lot easier them being here. thankyou mate

Hi i am having problems with my cable, my tv cant pick up the channels, i have tried two different tv's and on both when i search it cant find the cable i have all the wires in the correct places, can someone please help????

Hi guys i have an old chipped cable box, which has worked for about a year. But now when switched on err20 comes up. Simple question am i now buggerd?
