Hi all

I have a Pace 4010 box, I know the IRD for it (from the little sticker on the scart plug) however I need the box key for the box.

I have a Pogo Jtag, I followed the tutorial in the FTA Downloads section, using the [ byte 2004000 ff ] but I couldn't get the bok key nor the IRD.

Have the bytes changed or something ?? or is it because this box hasn't been conntected to a line for 2 years and it needs updating ??

Any help would be much appreciated.

Your in nthell arnt you. try 0x0086b6b08 .0x008adcd0 8 .0x00f69af8 8 if your using ocd leave 0x out.

Yeah I'm in an NTHell area. Do I need to type "byte" before them numbers ??

so it'll be like byte 0000..etc ??

Yes thats it leave a space after byte and first 0

You may have to update box first as they are the latest bytes.

Hi

After my 1st failed attempt to Jtag the box, I now get an alien error on front display !!! (it isn't letters, I can't even write it in here)

1st it displayed [ PACE ] with all of the little lights off. And then it was stuck on that for ages. I took power out, then back in, and now I get an Alien Error code !!!

I know the box was chipped before (a few years back). Is it possible that ntl has found a way to burn/destroy the box while I connected it to the line ??

What's going on ?? Someone please help

Go into eng menu and set frequency if its changed, then try a reboot , i doubt its ntl.

The freq for you area, everyones is different, have you got a box working that you can check to see. there is a list on here somewhere of all areas freq and net ids.

Another problem though, them bytes you posted didn't work !!!

one gave me (00) the other one gave me (00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00) and the other (FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF)

Do you have any other ones you could tell me, so that I could get the Box Key ?
