euro vox help

newbie on the scene got a euro vox max today with firmware loaded. scanned got all channels the only problem is picture breaking up signal goes to red then back up to 80% tryeed the freq change solution nothing. then went to my mates house worked perfect not evn a single break up my bros room next to me no break up perfect my room and it BREAKS ??? plz help

With the box working everywhere else, it sounds like a problem with the cable supplying tv to your room. Is your room on an extra splitter than your brothers which might impare the quality of the signal. Also there may be a slight break in the cable, you could try replacing the section of cable that supplies your room. Failing that maybe a signal booster might work.

from the main cable ive got 3 way cable splitter 2 for my room and 1 in my bros and it works there perfect not in mine tried both of the cables in my room no joy

Try swapping your brothers length of cable for one of yours, just to rule out the cable more than anything. You could also try running your cable from the socket on the splitter that your brothers cable is usually connected to, to rule out a problem with the splitter.
