Default Basic Eurovox questions

Hi,

Just want to say what a great site, with great information. I was over at my sisters house last week and her boyfriend had this incredible box under his tv with every channel. Needless to say, I find myself here...

I know many of you are probably sick of answering noobies but I have a few basic questions as I'm new to all this, and would really appreciate some things clarified.

Firstly, am I right in thinking that all I need to do is plug a regular tv cable into the eurovox in order to get all channels? (I have a basic VM package, that is through a Telewest box - Explorer 4200 DVB box) - I was under the impression I needed to have a broadband cable plugged into it?

Secondly, where is the best place to get one as of today?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply Steve,

Just to clarify, (Sorry mate, I'm new to all this!!) In one room there is the internet connection, which is plugged straight into a pc, and a wireless router, but the tv connection is in the front room (with that Telewest box with the card in it.) If I buy a Eurovox, and just plug the cable in from the front room, will that work?

Cheers

Thanks again Steve mate, much appreciated. Where could I buy one of these boxes with the right files 'flashed' on it. (Please excuse my ignorance again!)

Or if I got one, how do I flash these files onto it?

cheers
