Hi I have had my eurovox max v 2008 for a few months now i have managed in congunction with voxer and dnupman mad emy absolute channel list with no crap channels on there that i dont want, the reason i got the eurvox was because i used to have ntl then it changed to virgin and i didnt like ther service so i ended the contract bought this box to still get the tv but now i wanted BB so i dont have a bt line and have no intention of getting one (2 contract mobiles) so i decieded to get virgin BB 10 a month deal i opted for the user intallation as i am very competent with computers now i got my kit i set it all up no probs but now my eurovox goes through a splitter and i think it is interferring because a few channels will not work they are garbled or the box says no service or code is updating other channels work fine, now when i do a full scan it comes up blank as if the splitter is blocking all signals i went to maplins and bought another splitter it made no differnece, the starnge thing is if i remove the splitter it works fine and even if i put the splitter in and leave the modem disconnected it still scrambles some channels, Anyone got any ideas i am lost on this one, i can even do full a system scan without the splitter and i get all the channels fine put the splitter in some channelst lost/scrambled. Any Help Guys!!!!!

i'd redo the connections and if you've got any isolators on the line remove them all because they reduce the signal strenth so people get about the same

Hi Don,
From what you say there must be a problem with your splitter. Either it is faulty or it is the wrong type. I assume you have double checked for shorts in coax connections. I have a Eurovox with a splitter and BB, and there is no noticable drop in signal strength when the splitter is fitted. Below is link to type I have. Good fast delivery too.
