try cleaning the simm and wriggling it about to make sure the clips are correctly seated, then hold in ch- button boot up and hold it in until you see boot.

Hi thanks Jimbo, it would seem you're correct about what you said.
With the box open I pushed the SIMM forward a little and kept it at that position and I got Pace>Tune, but the moment I lift my hand and SIMM returns backward a little I get Err2!! How can I make the SIMM attach all the pins correctley ?? or is it a case of putting something (a little piece of rolled paper or something) that will push the SIMM forward and keep it at that position. Please help |

When you replace the sim card you have to locate it at an angle and make sure it locates properly ,and as you tilt it towards the clips apply firm pressure downwards and you should feel it go down into the slot and it should clip back in easily and be firmly held.

Yeah that's what I did. But I think the problem occured cause of the LED SIMM, its a little fatter, and does go into the slot easily. So I think it might have pushed a few pins back or something.
I've solved it now though
