sat box help required plz

i have a euro-vox at home that has a cable reciever built in. I am trying tofind the same sort of thing that has a satellite reciver in it. Is there any such box around ? if so what is it plz

this box still requires a card though, is that correct? If this is correct then which box does the same as the euro-vox which allows you pick up all digital channels without a card

There are several satellite receives that allow you to receive channels without a card - however, if you are talking about Sky UK, that is NOT hacked, so you will need access to a card to view their scrambled channels.

mmmmmmm all i want to watch in meeee caravan is sky channels which include sky sports , setanta sports and films without having to pay for a card. ( i know i'm a cheap skate) and how do i gain access to a card ?? any tips and cost and how long would the card last.

I think you are totally misunderstanding lincsat..Sky Digital has NOT been hacked, you must have a valid subscription and a card supplied by Sky to view the encrypted channels. I doubt it will ever get cracked.

Further reading you could look up NDS Videoguard. (Sky Dig is encrypted this way)

You can get various foreign sat providers who use less secure encryption methods, but it doesnt lend itself that well to a caravan. Your going to need rather a large dish I suspect.
