Is the cable feed plugged directly into the box without anything in between because sometimes cable companies insert all sorts of things like attenuators and tv/data splitters in the line from the box inside the house,if there are remove them and just use the cable as any of these can cause enough signal drop to cause pixelating ....if there are none can only suggest you do another power scan, that has been known to work at times.....as an aside my box is never switched to standby, its always on ....since we are in desparation mode at the present
it might be worth you unplugging the box from the mains for 5 minutes also to see if that helps, sometimes that has been known to work wonders (daft though it might seem) ...... |

sometimes the conector that you put your cable feed in to becomes loose because of someone pushing the wire in to hard.. you will notice that if you move the wire around the signal comes and goes more.... you will need to open the box up and make sure all the solder joints are intact, you get a really small hairline crack in the solder feet this is what the problem is..
once you have found the hairline crack a really small drop of solder will cure the problem...... Please let me know how you get on with this.. Hope this was helpfull.. Jay Quote:

I've been having the exact same problem as metonycool & I did as telecom69 said & took out my signal booster, Now my signal has gone from 8% with the signal booster to 98% without it! I am well chuffed! I just hope it lasts now! I was just wondering Mentonycool do you have any splitters or anything connected?? because that can be a big Problem too! Let us know how you get on... All the best, Tanya..
