dnupman should only be used on clones as stated in an earlier post
dont know what sort of warranty you get with clones,if any

hi back again still having problems gave my eurovox to a friend who tried it out and he told me he had no problems with it but when it return i turned it on and woe and behold i had the 8% problem so i reflashed with 28 04 2008 update and yes it sorted it during my boxes absence i replaced all the cable in the house now i had 1 full length of cable no splitter and a signal strenth of about 81 to 84 great i thought but true to form my signal intermittently dropped of down to 15 to 21 % this still happened after i introduced a signal booster pack please as anybody got any other ideas as i am at a lose with it working at my mates house

on the com ports i have a little problem .. my computer dont have one so i had to ask my mate who i gave a old computer too if i could see if there was one on his wich there was luckly enought so what im wondering is there some sort of adapter i can buy/use to convert the null modem cable to usb (if there is such an adapter)

Yes there is a serial to usb converter available. should got one off ebay. Just be aware some people have experinced probs using these with vista if thats your os.

wont touch vista with a barge pole .. good old XP pro for me

I couldn't get a usb to serial adapter to work with XP, and ended up buying a PCI card
