Hello
I have a Eurovox Max (red i think), im not sure but theres a yellow sticker seen through the top vents on the left side when the lcd is facing towards me. Model: DVB-XC BOX TDA, S/W VERSION: 1.0 STC4 APR 10 2008, HARDWARE VERSION: 2.0t, BOOTSTRAP: v002. Can ne1 tell me wat software/update files etc I need to download for it? In the past I was familiar with 'testing' an it* digital box and programming cards for a humax 5400 satellite receiver. Although this was some time ago and I could really do with a refreshing to help get back into it. All I really need to know is what's required to flash my box with new firmware if it stops working in the future. Also is there any software that lets u manage channel lists on the computer instead of using the remote? There's a null modem cable floating around here somewhere. Cheers ![]() |

Have a look at the Ronsters Guide To Flashing Box For Newbies
Google the 'bigMAQ toolbar' and under the Updates/Fixes icon you'll find the update for your box. When you launch the firmware on your pc, under Channel Data you can upload your Channel listing, then press Edit to do with it as you please, and then under Channel Data, download it back onto your box.

Cheers m8
Silly question- when saying whether the box is a red, blue or black do we mean that the actual casing is that colour or is there another way of telling? My box is black with a silver panel around the lcd. Im told it is a red though. |

Cheers
From that it must be a red as it is charcoal with the silver panel on the front. I read ronsters guide and it has 8 air-vents along the length of the modulator which indicates also that it is a red. |
