Default DBOX 2 problems

Hi
My name is Martin and this is the first forum posting I have made so please make allowances for any short comings.
I have a DBOX 2 which I have had a couple of years with no problems other than I had to have it re-flashed when I lost all chanels about a year ago. I had analogue NTL cable but now have Virgin digital but the box went wrong before the change as is the same since. Originally it was LINUX but when re-flashed it was changed to Sportster.
I get all BBC and ITV chanels and some cable chanels like BB live and NICK etc but none of the good stuff I used to get like films and sport. I think the box is at fault as I have done many scans and it gets all the chanels each time (they are all listed correctly) and the box display does not show the chanel in brackets (as not available) but the TV screen is just blank. I have tried the box at another location with the same results. The box was last flashed the same time as my friends unit but he has no problems.
Any ideas or further questions
Martin

Does that version of sportster have different CAM's available, if so try changing them. Otherwise you may have to try flashing a different image.

Hi
I would not know a CAM if it jumped up a bit me.
what is it and how would I go about checking this?
I have no experience with playing or changing the box setup. I just know I have tried many scans with all the different option available with no difference in the overal outcome.

Thanks Martin

Thanks
